Born on 2nd August, 1964 at Guwahati.His father Suchendra Nath Bhuyan was a Senior Advocate and a former Advocate General of Assam. Did his schooling in Don Bosco High School, Guwahati and thereafter studied in Cotton College, Guwahati. After graduating in Arts from Kirori Mal College, Delhi, he obtained his LL.B. degree from Government Law College, Guwahati and LL.M. degree from Gauhati University, Guwahati. Was enrolled on 20-03-1991 with the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. Had practiced before the Gauhati High Court. Also practiced before the Central Administrative Tribunal, the Assam Board of Revenue, Labour Court, Guwahati and various Civil Courts and the State Consumer Forum, Arunachal Pradesh. He was the Standing Counsel of the Income Tax Department for long 16 years. He was the Additional Government Advocate, in the Gauhati High Court. Special Counsel of the Forest Department. Appointed as Standing Counsel of Gauhati High Court. Designated as Senior Advocate and was appointed as Additional Advocate General, Assam on 21-07-2011. Appointed as Additional Judge of Gauhati High Court on 17th October, 2011 and confirmed on 20th March, 2013. He was also the Executive Chairman of Mizoram State Legal Services Authority, was closely associated with the Judicial Academy, Assam and National Law University, Guwahati. Transferred to Bombay High Court. After a two year stint at Mumbai, transferred to Telangana High Court and took oath on 22.10.2021. Appointed as Chief Justice of High Court for the State of Telangana, charge as such on of 28-06-2022 at Rajbhavan, Hyderabad.



Born on 1st January, 1961 at Nalgonda to late Smt. Raheemunnisa Begum and late Sri Jan Mohammed. Studied B.Com in Nagarjuna Government Degree College, Nalgonda, obtained Law Degree from University College of Law, Nagpur, completed L.L.M. from P.G.College of Law, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad in the year 1996, obtained Doctorate from Osmania University in the year 2006. Practiced on Civil, Criminal and Revenue side actively in Nalgonda District from 1986 to 2002. Appointed as District and Sessions Judge in the year 2002, worked as Additional District Judge at Khammam, Narasraopet. Also worked as Presiding Officer of Andhra Pradesh Wakf Tribunal, Additional Director of Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy, Principal District Judge, Nizamabad, and Registrar (Judicial), High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh. Appointed as Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad and assumed charge on 17.01.2017.

BBorn on 10th October, 1960 to late Sri G.Visweswara Rao and Smt. G.Shanta. Did her graduation in Science from M.R.College For Women, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh (Andhra University, Visakhapatnam). Secured Law Degree from Rourkela Law College (Sambalpur University) in the year 1986. Joined in the office of Sri A.K.Sahoo, Senior Advocate and practiced in the Civil side at Rourkela District, Sundargarh, in the District Courts, Odisha and thereafter joined in the office of Sri A.Ranga Chary and practiced on the Civil and Revenue side in the erstwhile High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad from 2002 to 2005. Appointed as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jhansi, Uttarpradesh State in the year 2005 and promoted as District and Sessions Judge in the year 2016. Elevated to the Bench as Additional Judge, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad on 22nd November, 2018 and has been transferred and assumed charge as Additional Judge of High Court of Telangana on 15th May, 2019. Appointed as Judge of High Court for the State of Telangana and assumed charge as such on 19-11-2020.

He was born in Depally Village, Nawabpet Mandal of Mahbubnagar District. Completed High School education and graduation at Mahbubnagar. Did L.L.B. frm Gnana Ganga University, Gulbarga, L.L.M. from PG College of Law, Hyderabad and pursuing Ph.D. in law on the subject Administration of Criminal Justice in India and the concept of plea-bargaining – A critical study from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Enrolled as an Advocate in July 1987, joined as Junior Civil Judge in the State Judicial Services on 05-05-1994, worked as such at various places in the State of Andhra Pradesh and promoted as Senior Civil Judge in the year 2005, worked as such at various places in the State. He was appointed as a District Judge by Accelerated Promotion in April, 2012, and worked as I Addl. District Judge at Adilabad and Warangal. He also worked as Chief Legal Advisor CID of Andhra Pradesh, Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee and as the First Member Secretary of Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Hyderabad. Thereafter he was posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District. Later he was appointed as Registrar (Judicial), High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh. He was the First Registrar General of High Court for the State of Telangana and has elevated as a Permanent Judge of High Court for the State of Telangana on 15.10.2021.


The T.S.Judicial Academy is situated at Secunderabad. In order to provide comprehensive training facilities for all categories of Judicial Officers of the State, the High Court of erstwhile combined State of Andhra Pradesh conceived an idea of establishing a nodal training institute and accordingly Hon’ble Sri Justice M.Hidayathullah laid the foundation stone for the Academy’s building on 1.1.1981. Later, on 28.7.1991 the State Judicial Academy was formally inaugurated.

Hon’ble the Chief Justice of Telangana is the Patron-in-Chief of the Academy and all the Hon’ble Judges of the High Court of Telangana are patrons of the Academy. Hon’ble the Chief Justice nominates a Judge of the High Court of Telangana as the president and such other Judges of the High Court of Telangana as the members of the Board of Governors of the Academy. The Hon’ble President and the Board of Governors guides the functioning of the Academy.


The Judicial Academy designed foundation courses, various other courses, workshops and Seminars for all categories of judicial officers and the staff of the Subordinate Courts....


The Staff of the Academy consists of a Section Officer who is incharge of Establishment of the Academy, a Deputy Section Officer who is Incharge of Course Section and assists......


The aim of the Academy is evolution of judiciary into an ideal medium for dispensation of justice by maintenance of highest standards of judicial education and improvement in .......


Regarding the decision making process pertaining to major items, the decisions are taken by the Hon’ble Board of Governors of the Academy. The fixing of classes is looked after........
